The space we had leased already had a HVAC duct as seen in the photo below:
This duct does not look good and does not get enough air to make the room nicely cool/warm. So we changed to a new spiral hard duct.
This duct guy is very nice and looks very energetic, but he says he got a cancer last year and recommended to have vegan diet. Will be our future customer!
This is the installation for the bathroom duct. Making a hole on the roof. (The hole looks too big! Will it be all right???) One of them says he has a fear of heights!
These two, Ken, the general contractor and Akira, the owner, were talking closely about the construction while the other two were working. It is better to talk face-to-face than telephone conversation. Communication is very very important since people from many different fields are working.
Basic plumbing work is finished. Now we are working on framing work.
Measure, check, measure, and double-check in order to pass all the codes.
These frames are for the restrooms. It has been changing to the real restaurant little by little.
The best vegan / vegetarian restaurant, VegiLicious is facing a public hearing to request a special permit (coastal development permit) from Huntington Beach, California.
Watch Akira's impressions from the meeting!

Thanks Ken(Our general contractor)! He is organizing the whole construction team and discussed our plan with the landlord, Huntington Harbour mall.
